Gabe lifted his head when she remained still, his mouth hovering over her lips again. ‘But you’ve always been dangerous, haven’t you, Ash? And now I can’t seem to stop. So this is your fault.’

Ash swallowed down the lump of emotion in her throat when he said the husky words with an edge of frustration in them. He wasn’t happy about making the confession, was he? He didn’t want to want her.

When she knew she desperately wanted him to. She wanted to be able to make him burn as she did, ache as she did—need, as she did.

He pushed her leg wider, the irresistibly seductive edge returning to his voice and melting her bones as his hand moved back up.

‘I can’t stop touching you and it’s your own fault I can’t.’

Ash moaned into his mouth when he kissed her with more ferocity than he had since she’d thrown her anger into kissing him. He demanded; she gave everything. He punished her for his weakness; she accepted full responsibility for her crime.

His fingers sought out her core and he found the evidence of how much she wanted him.

Tearing his mouth from hers, he leaned his forehead against her brows, his ragged breathing washing over her cheeks, his voice groaning out, ‘Dammit, woman, why couldn’t you have just packed a bag?’

Ash laughed softly, but it was part shaky sob, because she wanted what he wanted so badly it killed her.

‘I’ll just have to be creative then, won’t I?’

Gabe briefly closed his eyes, a strangled noise sounding in the base of his throat. ‘Not this time. This time you’re going to give me something I want more.’

He kissed the question off her lips, moving to prop an elbow so he could rest his head on his hand, his fingers moving through her moist heat in circles, dipping lower, then up, never quite touching where she so wanted to be touched the most. ‘This first time I’m gonna watch while you surrender to me.’

Ash didn’t know if she could do that. ‘I can’t—’

Not with him watching her. Not with him knowing how much control he could exert over her. She’d be giving him something of herself from deep inside that could never be taken back and she’d sworn—she’d made a vow—that she’d never let herself get lost again. And that’d been before it wasGabe , who took so much from her already simply by being able to do to her body what had never been done.

‘You can.’ He leaned down and kissed her brows, her closed eyes, the tip of her nose and finally her mouth, his deep voice seduction itself. ‘Because you know you want to.’

Hell, yes, she wanted to. Because his fingers were building the pressure deep inside her to the point where she was arching up into his touch, small sounds coming from the base of her throat and echoing in the room, sounding so very far away to her ears.

He slid a finger inside her and kissed her lips when she cried out.
